The heart is the seat of all our affections and in it are all the deep desires of self-will and self-gratification. The heart is easily distracted, easily deceived, and easily entangled by the things of this world. Directing our hearts toward understanding and obeying God is the key to re-molding our will. We need to repent and return to God! Only then, can we have a sound biblical worldview and be able to re-calibrate our values and our choices to align with His Word. (cf. Psalm 19:14)
